My mom (who lives in zone 10, southern california) has green worms eating her seedlings. She mentioned its eaten her larkspur, delphinium, and lupine leaves. She's asked me to ask the garden buddies how she can prevent them from eating her plants. What can she do organically or chemically? Thanks in advance, buddies. Jamie

Besides picking them off and smashing them, we use sevens and dust them lightly. We know they can do some serious damage if allowed to stay on any plant.

You should ID the worm before you chose a pesticide. You could be spraying something that isn't for that particular bug and just wasting your time and money. Check out Baldo Villeges web site. He's the best bug man on the web. http://www.sactorose.org/rosebug/
