Hi all, I planted a globe artichoke plant about a month and a half ago. It's growing new leaves but for every new one an old one dies. I just pulled off a dying leaf and there were very small ants INSIDE of the stalk. I didn't see any aphids just the little ants. all my other vegetables are fine, they just seem to be attacking the artichoke, any ideas how to deal with this?
