Hi Kim- You made such a wonderful transformation, but I would be happy to have the first view in my garden too! Glad you are happy with it and enjoying it.

The changes are really great. I really like the extension of the walkway up along the pond. the flagstone and gravel is low maintance and I'll assume help keep debris out of the pond. The view is really nice to be able sit out see this eveyday . Mike}

Such a lovely yard! What did you use for the mulched pathways?

Very pretty Kim. What are those shrubs at the far end?

Thanks guys. The mulched pathways are dyed red cedar mulch. I find it compacts well and the dogs and people don't track it in the house. We are on heavy clay here so no weeds grow through it. The shrubs if you are referring to the end of the pond are an ornamental grass Northern Sea Oats, on the right hand side there are very tall hydrangeas - between 8-9 feet. I don't know the variety. They have flatter annabelle type flowers.

Lily, what is the pale blue flower in the back border? Is it Forget-Me-Not?

They are forget-me-nots. I pull them all after they have finished blooming and they come back from seed. I love them in the spring with the early and mid season tulips.
