 
Not bad for the first year here!Next Spring I can paint the windows and maybe replace that wooden lattice .Alteast that !ew! yew! didn't grow back. but that darn baby yucca still keeps poking through. Probably always will. Have since bumped out that chair and dug out rest of grass there and moved that little hydrangea down and added another susan there. If all goes as planned wil be one HUGE mama hydrangea there. Keeping fingers crossed. sprinkled rocket snap seeds all along in there today. I hope that butterfly bush at left end makes it. I think its a royal red. LOVED the Mealy cup sage. Keep that for next year. You worked so very hard Mim! Good job! |
 So, I finished my sideboard today, finally. And I have JUST enough room for my laptop.hahah. Even got the fish in there too. Got it all layered with all my pretties, and thats when it happened. I found Edna's book. Its like she was calling to me from her grave. And if that wasn't spookie enough not 2 minutes later I got 2 photos from Howard. so, I figured that was some kind of sign that I was to go back to meetings. so. I am going on Thursday. Stranger things
have happened, but that freaked me out. but it feels better saying it. Can't find any other day meetings, so this will have to do for now . Maybe call Kay, someone has to still be around. |
just got Iris newsletter just now, and there was  in there and I said HAY!!!!! That looks like and sounds like what I got from that nice man in Parkman the first time I went. I forgot about that.! So. those are in there too. ! I got 2 clumps the first time I went. A Gold one too besides that gold galore. This is going to be fun to see what all comes up in that bed. |
Poor lil Ming, took her on her last  ride , put it away in the shed for the winter. have to call this week and see how to store the battery. Still have to Pimp my cart, have to work on that .
sprinkled Cleome seeds about here and there and around the 2 butterfly bushes at tall lamp post, that way incase bushes dont make it, they will.
Back to class tomorrow. YEah. hope Kathy had fun at the beach. I am gonna be one hurting cowboy tomorrow. oh well. after class Liz & I are headed to Ollies, she has never been. fun fun.

Rained like a Hoooie as PHJ would say.
Had a river running in the yard between my bench and the babbling brooke. OHGoodenss. And so very dark now in the morning.
Liz & I went to Olllies& apple castle. she had never been there before.
Got a suet feeder today had a female cardinal perched on it with in minutes. Pushed up the screen on the kitchen window so I can see the bird feeder better in the Winter.

Maybe start eating more bananas. my ankle looks like *!#$&! but.I am healed. I was looking at past photos of it last nite from Last November. OMG. Made me cry, I almost puked. Each class I think....this sure beats sitting in a doctors office. I should go see those girls there and show them How good I look,

What an overwhelming day.!
Class was good. I think I worked that whatever out of my back.
Went back to Al-anon. OMG! Getting out of the car and Elanor pulls in. she looked good. So nice to see an oldtimer first. I showed her Edna's photo I had found and ofcourse started crying. Went into the meting and Jenny & Norma are there.Felt like I never left.Only I did leave. and now . someone else was sitting in my chair. It was a different me. It was like I was hearing the 12&12 different now. It was weird. Maybe 15 people there.SO glad teh oldtimers were there. it would of been different somehow if they werent. Felt like I was walking in those same shoes. but they had been resouled. Ofcourse it was a step meeting 10th month. Personal Inventory. Looking forward to going back next week.
After that I went to the Wound Center. Had all intentions of showing Betty how good I looked and Found I coudn't get out of the car. Someone was going in with one leg and it freaked me out. I think I had a lil panic attack. so. i just decided I am not ready to go back in there yet. Made me grateful for what I have. Just very overwhelming.
and this rain doesnt help either.  Lion in Winter has been wet for days now.
This was not a pretty Fall. We only had 2 nice weeks.

 Gloomy day today. Think it got to 47. we got maybe 10 minutes of sun today and I was out there the enitre time. lol. Its so wet that you can stand still in the yard and hear the water under your feet moving. Its weird. Witch of November is coming fast. I don't know what happened to us getting Indian Summer this year. Getting glass room almost done . Can't wait to start cutting again. |

so, dozer got stuck in the yard today.And no wonder with all the rain we have had. So, by spring that should settle. Asked Tom if I could put wildflowers in the ditch and its ok asl long as it doesn't turn in to a jungle. so. Have to find Bulk seeds for that!That wil be so pretty. was watching Victory garden this morning and they were showing them. Made us have a vision !

OOps the dozer made a mess. The best bogging I saw was when the cub scout leader hired a double decker bus to take the kids to a treeplanting - mental note, never try to drive a double decker bus across a wet paddock. Our group did make an impression, actually a lot of very deep ones. |

We had snow showers all day today. behind the trees, they are clearing out timber. Was thinking of taking a walk back there. heard there is am Amish saw mill and a team of 4 horses, would of been fun to see but, I dont know those woods. My luck I would STILL be out there. They did not bring horses when they logged us out this summer.
So. I was a good girl and worked VERY hard on my room. Its almost done too. I am a year behind. first we moved, then I was unpacking then. not able to stand for 6 weeks. so.There went my glass last year. By the time I was able to be up. it was getting near Spring and fixing this room was last thing on my mind. I can use my hair floor mats, and put that metal shelf in the corner so I can free up more counter space. This room is wee, but its cute and its mine. I have enough room to turn around and I have good light and can look out the back yard and see my loverly farm. No heat but that oil heater will work out fine. and my laptop works in there. I think I need a few more LARGE sheets of glass. have to go to Salem to see that nice lady. her shop moved and I actually found her business card today. YEAH! Thought I lost that when I moved. The 4 stacker is filled with garden magazines and doubles as my grinding stand.
Still have to figure out where to put the table saw, and what this winters project will be.
New diamond blade and I am ready to rock. can't wait. My finger tips will be sliced to ribbons by the weekend. EW! Fun. Found my new glass cutter that I didnt even take out of the package yet. so, it was a bit of christmas for me today. Lil Mingy sat on her rocker all day long next to the heater. She just loves to sleep there and can watch me. Glad I am someones hero! Found that Bird and peony window that I had started to cut out 2 years ago. Think I shall change out the birds in it and make them bluebirds. I think I saw that done like that on delphi site. have to find it again. loved it that way. I can find something else to use that brown glass for. Maybe see if I can find that new trick saw and sell this one to trade up. |

so, fine turn past Debbie's old place. Go down half a block. and there they are COPS EVERYWHERE< GUNS. COPS AND MORE COPS, It was horrible. And theres lil ole Mim! I think I might of peed my pants. Cops with jackets that said Special Forces. Plus Sharon Cops. Everywhere. and this was 4 houses from kathys'!
i just fast drove past. went through the stop sign. and banged on her door. Told her to stay in the house. that poor thing. TO have to live there in all that. Nothing on the evening news . probably at 11. or in the paper tomorrow. SO glad I dont live in that crap anymore. Could of been at Debbies! So glad she moved. And that was before 11 in the morning!!!!!! |

Good day today Mim!Class was Wonderful!!was able to totaly AMAZE Kathy & myself. Did somethin no one else could. I still dont know how I did it. Cant believe how far I have come since August . Let alone where I was a year ago this time. OY! Star said seh saw the lightbulb go off over my head and I FELT it too! Too funny. I think those podcasts are helping too.
So, AFG meeting was great. Alot of new faces.I remember all too well. Millie asked if I would do November, so Its time I get active. Program feels different now. I am different now. Someone handed me a stack of 9 forums and 3 of them had my hand writing on the cover. Freaked me out. Another sign. Glad to be back. Cunning Baffling , Powerful. Sailed through the first 3 since I had hit my rock bottom, working onStep 4, .
Linda and I are going saturday to Fiesta outlet down west virginia, I think thats where she goes. If I bring home a soupmug, I'll be happy.

Witch of November is comin! Linda and I went to Fiesta today. Finally. have been trying to get there for 2 years.  Should of been more organized. I found a teapot for a plant on the porch. It will look pretty with the rest of my Blues. Then we went to the casino, Home before the evil storms hit. Lightning and thunder. Snow showers. EW!!!! |
