What a day! . Ugly Kung Fu . Felt great, but glad when it stopped.
Went to Merry Anns' She made me coffee in a french press. Oh my! So good. Arbuckles coffee. SHe is getting near the end of hiking the AP trail. Maine and she is almost done. Good for her. Maybe when I am 68 I too can hike it. She said there is a mile of it that can take up to 5 hours. OY!
Found a 4 stack shelf for in my studio. Fits great in the corner. Traded out my bridge lamps so now I have more light. Nothing like a bridge lamp. Have SO much glass I cant believe it. I could t see it before. I am really good for the winter I do think. Maybe just a few more sheets but that is it. have to go to Aladin's and see if they have some end cuts. Can make a killing for $30.
So, I fell AGAIN! Shameful.
Had Ming in my arms and tripped on stepping stones. They have heaved. She went flyin. Poor lil thang. I have a nice blood knee like a lil girl. Good thing its my GOOD knee or I would be in BIG TROUBLES> Brush burns on my right wrist. Did something to my back too. There I was laying in the yard. Didnt know if I should laugh or cry. Wonder if anyone saw me. Oh well, I'll heal.
I am not going to sleep tonite till this room is finished so I best quit typing and Git R Done! |
 
WOW!
I had forgotten how much I had already done. When we moved, i just numbered pieces and took them off and put them in a box. and there they sat for 15 months. VERY overwhelming taking them out just now and placing them. Crying my eyes out. Thinking back to my old studio, had I known THEN where I would be finishing this window, I would of bet ya a million bucks... no way. love my new room.
Ok, now seeing it on here , I can see leaves I dont like. And i am glad I am gonna make them bluebirds. |
 huh! Wonder if this looks like bluebird color. have to take it out side tomorrow and look at it. I think the reddish orange is good. this might be too dark...Pondering. |
I think , maybe the blue on the left? for bluebirds>and middle is their lil tummies, and bottom is the leaves.Leaves for sure are easy. SO GLAD I found this glass. Still missing some purple that I had cut out , only found 2 pieces late last nite. HMMM> Oh well. that can change . |
yeah! My soldering iron works. My soldering leaves alot to be desired, but. after 2 years not doing it....Oh well. I ;ll practice. I was able to fit my computer chair in my room too. Since this is a different set up than what I had before, its interesting to make things work. but it duz! have to see about moving this glass off teh floor and onto my shelf. I cant see what all I have. my head is spinning with ideas. I do think I am selling that saw adn trading up for my dream saw. Changed my grinder head tonite. OH MY!!!!! Diamonds are a girls best friend. Works so much better have to remember when I changed it. I have to get intouch with Guy and have him come see my place. He would be VERY impressed with me. 6 foot by 11 foot. WOW! just enough room. maybe I could get it blown full of foam. Make it warmer. Its gonna be bburrr, TIme will tell. |
it was SO WINDY at 5:30 a.m. the power went off.
Class about killed me since the fall. My knee is a delightful shade of green with a splash of scab, the elbow Twins to the knee , see the size of the stones with the sheets of glass? fell tuesday in that stuff. SO far my meetinga are going good. Had 2 new gals there today. Takes ya right back.
Went to Panera 2 times today. OY ! Doc was sitting next to me. Hard to believe this time last year I was with him 2 times a week. I felt like pukin when I saw him. Guess it was bringin it all back again. I was able to tell him I was healthy. Felt good to say that. What a difference a year makes......
Still feel like I am on vacation everyday I come home. I can't believe how nice my farm is. Even with the dead rats. Whats ya gonna do huh? Hopefully, with the brook pipes screened over we got allllll the places discovered and no more of THOSE!
My snapdragon experiment is still looking good.
Saw Farmer Joe yesterday. His doctor told him he is getting worse. I think he is doing well, Told Sweet Pauline I'd sit with him if she needs to go out at nite or when ever. |

Got 3 nice pieces of glass from Queen Patty yesterday. Her place is so wonderful since she has moved to her home. 2 horses and visiting Lisa is a love. Patty says she does her bluebirds from top right blue glass and since it IS my very favorite of all glass I guess I shall go for it. GOt a sheet of K-111 too so I think we will have one blue bird and one dirty bird. This green cuts like butter and OH!!!!!! Loving this new grinder head since it has been changed. MAMA! This room is staying warm so far, but Dont know once the snow flies.
Still singin and dancin even though this is a small room.

Had a Very nice turkey day. No disfunction but our own. Good to know who the players are ya know.Mingy loves pie crust bless her lil heart. !Went to Sues adn she helped me with that. Her friends 6 year old granddaughter made 2 pies all herself. OY! You can learn from anyone. My sour cherry turned out really good.
This weather has been unreal. Have spent every afternoon in the hottub.
Getting lots of glass done. I am on a roll!.Got the leaves all cut. Maybe cut everything out first, then. grind everything. That way if it gets to cold in here, I can move everything inside much easier. |

Ugly Kung Fu. Felt good today. I do think I am going to l@@k into going to China. Nick is taking a group this summer. Maybe if I can sell enough on eBay and at the mall, I can swing it.
Broke my flower last nite for my window, Now I have to figure out how to make another pattern. Tissue paper I do think. Its always something. GRRR.
My arm is still black and blue from my flu shot on Friday. Dont know what that man did to me.
