I just read DJ's journal, and I'm getting *vewy* suspicious here. I'm guessing there are about 10 or 12 people there, all using the name heirloomgardens. What do you think? |
I wondered whose voices those were in my head. Now why I don't I ever see any of them doing any work around here? Slackers! |

I was just thinking that it would be nice if all of them would lend the poor thing a hand and PRIME! |
Seil, you make me laugh! HAHAHAHA!!!! |

Nope I think that all sounds like HG, she is very like me (even more similar, if you check the photos, except a bit younger, prettier and less pregnant) I suspect she is a Virgo, so very perfectionist, but I love the gardening she does and look forward to her posts. Even her seed planting lists look similar to the ones I would do if I posted them... I dont post because I am a Virgo, and my perfectionist side would be offended if the seeds didn't come up. I am so glad to have HG in our group, she seems a darling person (just like me) loves her herbs and is intelligent (just like me)and shares great photos (just like I wish I did) |
Greth, that is so hilarious! I should hire you as my Marketing Manager. You actually make me sound like a good person. HAHA! Sadly, I am not a Virgo. I am a Capricorn. I just found this description on the Internet: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capricorn_(astrology) Except for the traditionalism/conservatism parts, I think it's probably pretty accurate. I found the Occupations list rather amusing. I noticed under Relationships that Virgo is listed for compatibility, so that might explain things! Yesterday, when I was up on the ladder priming, I was thinking that my problem is that I am a perfectionist and I was annoyed that I can never seem to get anything perfect. Then I realized that was what being a perfectionist is all about. HAHA! BTW, Congratulations on the new light of your life, Greth!

Aww thanks, Hg. It was a bit of shock, well a lot of a shock really, I'm 45 and was enjoying Jessie as my 'last' child. We don't have a spare room for the new arrival, it is gonna have to find a corner until we can build something for oldest child. Fortunately the Aust Govt is very keen on reproduction (at least the current Govt, which looks set to change in a month or so). Once child is born we get a Baby Bonus of $5000, enough for materials for an add-on room. The new Govt could of course remove the baby bonus, but that would cause a major outcry, so unlikely to happen. The Baby Bonus is wonderful, when Jessie was born it was $3000, which bought a car capable of holding a baby seat (something we didn't have)I just wish it could be paid about a month before bubs is due, so that you can be ready beforehand! Will have my 20 week ultrasound in a coupla weeks, should know whether to buy pink or blue wool then. Perfectionism needs to be dealt with firmly - a loud 'That's good enough!' at intervals should help. Just thinking, Hg is the symbol for Mercury, or Quicksilver, and the planet of wit and intelligence, hmmm. I won't be calling you DJ again, I have found your true name! As for mine, easy! Greth means faithful/true, or a place of sanctuary. |
Those Baby Bonuses sound great, Greth! Still sounds like a rough road to follow, though, especially when you thought you were done with babies. :-O I hope your ultrasound goes well. Please keep us posted!
LOL. All very apt, I would say! |
