Welcome to the dahlia forum Sheila. Nice pictures. Do you know the name of the second dahlia, yellow with splashes of red? Heatwave is the name, if you don't know the name.

Welcome, Sheila. Linda must be talking about the weather, Heatwave. It is exciting for our dahlias to start appearing. Happy photo posts ahead!

Thanks. 1st year in many years that I have done Dahlias. I am happy to have a name for the Yellow/red one, it was in a bigbag special/ Monique 1 and 3, are from seeds of Bedding Dahlias, much lower plant and I am pleased with the whole group, But what do I do at the end of the season???. I like them so much that I bought another packet home from Scotland and hope that they will do aswell next year.

Wow- it pays to go back and look at old threads! These are just lovely Sheila. I think 'Heatwave' might go on my wish list. They are all beautiful- the dusky rosy one is intriguing as well. I love how you framed the photos in ovals.
