With this hot weather we are having the dahlias are popping like mad. The plants look terrible we need rain bad.

Arlene- Doris G. is what they call a Laciniated, meaning split petals. I really like Doris G. I have found 4 plants so far that are starting to bloom. Jewel Of Arlene also has the same split petals.

Wonderful blooms LInda. I like Frizzy Lizzy best too. Caproz Jewel of Arlene reminds me of Caproz Razbr'y Twinkle grown first for me last year. Impossible color to photograph: kind of dark raspberry/wine/deepest pink. Pretty though!

Yes to rain. Please let it rain LOL! I'm so sick of watering, a little natural rainfall would be just the ticket. I am always amazed at how fast the plant grow upward, and develop buds, seemingly overnight after a good watering. That and the recent high heat has really brought on the growth.

Please keep showing us your line up of lovelies!
