And I'm Sorry---I don't have the tag. It's one of the named dahlias I posted early summer. There is another dahlia very much like this one (that I didn't take photos of) and Unfortunately, the DEER ate 4-6 of my other dahlias. Two plants with dark bronze foliage are setting more buds though so, hopefully I'll post some more. Anyway, I really like this one and if I find the name I'll add it!

Very pretty Denise. We are lucky out here the deer don't eat our dahlias. Here is a simple and very good recipe to keep deer out of anything you want to keep in your yard. Whip up one egg, pour it into a quart squeegee bottle and add a couple drops of dish soap. My friends that have roses watched the deer shake their heads when they got a whiff of that. Then they turned around and left.
