I printed all the nice pictures and comments on Bernie's birthday anniversary that the GardenBuddies made. With friends, we visited Midge and her niece. Midge was so pleased to get them (opened privately) and hopes to find time this winter to learn the computer and perhaps the Gardenbuddy site. Of course, I offered to help. She has knowledge, too, as she said Bernie and she did everything together. The local dahlia friends and golf club buddies helped Midge dig all her dahlias last winter and set up the rebar poles and prepared the beds this spring for her. Instead of three rows she reduced the beds to two row of plants and feels that works better. Her dahlias were beautiful. She also gave about 100 tubers to her neice who lives in Ohio. This fabulous gal drives to Midge's each week and stays for several days, helping shopping, trimming, etc. That is one lucky Midge. Midge says she is busy writing and illustrating a children's book, I think she said.
