Yesterday whilst walking at our local flash I came upon these rather eyecatching wooden sculptures.

This is our common woodpecker, the Greater Spotted.

I think these are supposed to be Teal (dont miss the toadstool)

Not sure what this is. Owl perhaps ?

Wonderful sculptures Annette. I thought of Jan Brett (the childrens book author) when I saw the hedgehog!

The woodpecker and the hedgehog can come live in my garden!

Would you believe two times when I was out there working skunks ran right by me, probably pretty scared to see a person out there, but fortunately, not scared enough to spray me. The woodpecker and the hedgehog I could live with right easily -- but am glad the skunks didn't stay.

Loved seeing these photos!
