Enjoy~ The berries are exceptional this year because of the wonderful rains we had in the late winter. The plants were loaded with blooms so that means we will get to go back & pick some more in a few weeks... Yummmy~

You both remind me of the past. Dad used to sing an old army song when we went hiking:

O les fraises et les framboises et les bons vins qu'nous avons bu...

Which is about strawberries and raspberries and the good wines we have drunk....and I'm sure more than my 8 year old self was aware of! He was French (so this was the French army) and wine was a very important part of his life...in a good way.
