When we moved into this house we inherited a large plum tree. The plums are greenish with sometimes a reddish blush in places, and altho its only august theyre mostly ripe to eat, and yummy! But the tree is so weighed down with all the fruit the branches are bent right down to the ground! I will prune it later but how do I do so? I know you need to prune to develop spurs for next years buds but cant remember the technique!
