Barbara, you kindly sent me some crispa seed in November last year. The first pot I checked today-:

I must go check my Crispa's for germinations! I'm getting anxious seeing yours.... I just love to see new seedlings pop up. Yesterday, The President made a first appearance. Suzy

Thanks, Brian. It's good to know they are coming along. It'll be interesting to see if they look like true species, or have crossed with another. Prince Charles and Margaret Hunt are near. I planted many crispa seeds in a large covered poly tub in 2002. They took a long time to sprout, but some finally did. Now they continue to sprout sporadically. I'll keep the tub going until none have sprouted for a year, I suppose.
