Now that we have new cyclamen converts, perhaps someone can spare some extra seed or point others in the direction of a source. Seems Seneca Hill is running low. If you have spare seed perhaps you can offer them.

Terry,

Penny alerted me to the Hansen Nursery in Oregon, where one of the specialities is cyclamen. There's no webpage, but the email address is rhansen@harborside.com. I don't know if she sell seeds or only grown plants.

It turns out Seneca Hill won't ship to California, so it's harder for us here to find good species.

That's a shame. Have you tried the cyclamen society for seed? You would have to join but I am sure the selection would be wonderful. An alternative might be the North American Rock Garden Society. I think they have seed in their exchanges and you may find something else that would make membership fees worth it.

I don't have any seed now, but thought that if someone had extra seed they could share with the new enthusiasts. Did Seneca Hill say why they would not ship to CA? I guess some sort of restrictions by the state. Maybe someone else has spare seeds.
