I just love it when I have my camera and see a beautiful butterfly enjoying my garden. He wasn't afraid at all I got real close to get this shot.

He looks like he's wearing a suit. Is he real?

Such a cheerful shot! Just what I needed on this rather gloomy rainy Michigan morning...Thanks Kit!

Yes Anne he is real. Sue this photo was taken last summer, I wish I did still have butterflies. Thanks Ann SunnyDay it's gloomy here to and raining. I had to do the grocery shopping today and I really didn't feel much like doing it but we have to eat. I got the fixings for your chicken soup and will start on it tomorrow. My head is so stopped up that I didn't feel much like cooking today. I threw a tv dinner in the oven for the Old Bucket and I had chicken noodle soup.

That is another great shot Kit. Such clarity and crispness! Those great golden yellows show up wonderfully against the background of the house. Well, sure hope you feel better soon. A person automatically feels a little better when the sun is out, don't you think? That's not supposed to happen around here till maybe Tues. but at least it's not flooding like they have in TX! Let us know how the soup turns out...

Thanks Anne, they are so tame they will let you pick them up. SunnyD they seem to love this dwarf plant and even though it's planted in a hanging basket made no difference. Thanks for the well wishes but I don't think I'll be able to make the recipe today. I am so worried about my little feral kittens that are missing. I will be going out again in hopes of finding them. This link will explain it http://www.gardenbuddies.com/forum/messages/14940/1134150.html
