True leaves

Author Message   Terryk  My Weather My Time Posted on Friday, December 03, 2004 - 07:11 am EST :    I am in the process of transplanting my seeds and am wondering, how long before the seeds germinate do you start to see the second leaf emerge? I have many seedlings (understatement!) but only one or two have a second leaf coming from the first leaf. The seed was sown in August and germination started in late September, October. Can anyone tell me if this is normal? In any case, for me it is an erratic business. I have some with only one small leaf after many months. Then again I also get many stems emerging at the same time on other plants. So from my experience, anything is normal!
