The insulation on the feathers must be quite good, to keep all that cold out. I wonder how their toes go.

What a super shot Doug! Hope to see a few of these this winter. They had a problem with disease that was pretty sad for awhile. It's always such a nice surprise to see them out here with the other 'regulars.'
