I know those squirrels just can't be beat.

So I decided to hook them up with some food of their own and squirrel proof my feeders as best I can.

The peanut, sunflower, and thistle feeders all have squirrel baffles and I put out peanuts and cracked corn and sunflower on the ground for them.

But most fun is this corn holder with corn treat. This little guy made himself comfortable.

Oh what a darling little critter. Did you make that corn feeder Kaveh. It's a great idea. I didn't know they ate corn. He has the daintiest little fingers and toes and that beautiful tail!!!!!!!!!

Oh what a darling, he looks so soft and cuddly. He looks like he is more than happy with the corn feeder, hopefully it will keep him away from the other feeders.

Do I see the RED porch in the background with a clematis with GREEN leaves?

OK, I guess he's cute, but I'm not thrilled with those guys I'm afraid. You're right though....you can't beat 'em. They bring masses of corn cobs here from the neighbouring fields.

Cute Shot, Kaveh! I had some of these guys in my greenhouse this fall - they ate my Indian Corn door decoration. I had it for about 15 years, so I don't imagine the corn was at its best! There is a huge oak next door and the squirrels usually prefer the acorns to my birdfeeders. The chipmunks help themselves though.

I trap and move them all summer and fall and just live with the rest through the winter.
