Back at Martinmere today the weather was somewhat dull. But life is never dull around my favourite wildfowl, the Long tailed Duck.

The second one does have a lot of expression, but so does the third.

The reflections on the male have an interesting effect -- it could be an ad for a Victoria's Secret lingerie catalog. I probably wouldn't have noticed this ordinarily, but I've been thinking about Treanna's "Rejected Christmas Gift" thread in the Social Gallery.
