I love this thing:)

I know because I have had it forever..but she had it a long time too..And we all know I'd rather splurge on kitchen and garden things than clothes and such so you can understand that through the years I have bought my blenders, cuisinarts ,processors etc..But this remains my absolute favorite..
Grates everything in a heartbeat..
I was making Susans Vidalia onion spread and of course had to grate cheese..Out it came:

I actually looked at the words today..anyone else have one and do we know the ap.vintage?

Do you do what I do when you entertain and put all the recipes together instead of all the books..binders etc..

I practiced little flans ..I'll know if they are good when i bake them tonight:)

I was in good company with partial sunbeams.. music and mes fleurs de cuisine:)

What an wonderful grater, Monique. I looks so clean and new.
I've never seen one quite like it. My mother has an old food
grinder that was clamped onto the counter. When I cook, I bring
out the books, print-outs, my album of favorites - everything!
Your yellow flowers are so cheery on this cold day. And, I must say,
your camera is still taking fabulous photos!

You know culinary items aren't my thing but the pictures are outstanding. That darling little camera (rain and loose battery cover and all) still does a magnificent job.

Good enough for me to make them again tonight for company..
Kinda like baby food brought to a different level:)

And pretty.

This is Le Menu..DD's in-laws and the kids(adult kids) and kalie maybe Cooper..
Brie cranberries and caramelized onion crostinis
Baked pita crisps with Vidalia onion spread

Cream of leek soup with Cream of asparagus swirl
Mesclun salad topped with a puff pastry pear and brie and walnut strudel
Salmon on asparagus with la salsa..:)
Wild rice mix
Carrot Flans

Cheese platter with fruits

Brown bag apple pie and ice cream

The flans pop out nicely from the Ramekins I bought for your chocolate desserts Susan..

It looks like an ambitious menu M but this is all I would eat from it.
