Made with excess veggies from Saturday night entertaining. Start to finish 17 minutes. Linguine and shrimp with snow peas, asparagus tips, red onion and pepper, parsley, garlic, fresh parmesan, dijon and cream sauce. Number one son loved it.

Oh my gosh, does that ever look yummy, Kim! This would be my daughter's favourite dish. She and her boyfriend always cook this for me, no veggies though. I must suggest she throw some in next time as she absolutely loves snow peas!

Susan, There was no sauce recipe - but very easy. I sauted the shrimp and removed from the pan. Stir fried the veggies and removed to the shrimp plate. Added a bit of butter and some olive oil, sauted some red onion and garlic, whisked in some dijon mustard (a healthy tablespoon), a tablespoon of flour and 1/4 cup of chicken broth. Added the cream to that(probably a cup) and thickened until the sauce coated the spoon. Returned the veggies and shrimp to the sauce and added lots of fresh parmesan and tossed in the parsley - or something like that. I don't think that you can ever screw up pasta unless the pasta itself is overcooked. I enjoy it almost plain :).
