to share with some who may not know this. I found this to be a useful tip though I suspect many of you gourmets already know. To free up the reluctant juice from your lemons, put it in the microwave for 15-20 seconds depending on size. Wow, that works better than rolling and kneading them! I'm making Polo Frito (chicken) for DH tonight which calls for lemon & olive oil marinade so this was a timely tip to try.

Ages ago we visited friends in Hawaii. They were the first people I knew to own a microwave. She told me that she only used it for two things: reheating coffee and heating lemons for juicing. :-)
