Since I'm having this for lunch while visiting gardenbuddies, I might as well share the recipe.

Platter of chicken drum sticks (10 or so pieces)
1 pkg of Lipton’s onion soup mix
1 small can of peaches in syrup
Catalina salad dressing (about 1/2 the bottle content)

Cut up the peaches into smaller chunks. If health conscious you can take the skin of the chicken (or buy skinless). Place everything into a large bowl (or right into the baking dish) and stir well to evenly coat and dissolve the soup mix. Make sure the dish is big enough so that the sauce doesn't spill over while baking.
Cover well with aluminum foil and bake at 350 for 1 and 1/2 hrs.

Luiza, sounds delicious. I used to make a very similar recipe, except I used a small jar of either peach or apricot jam, and French dressing instead of catalina. It's soooo good. Have not made it in years!

Yes, it's a tasty, quick and easy dish. You can marinate the chicken ahead of time as well. It's even tastier then.

Lucy, did you also put the onion soup mix in your recipe? Maybe I will try your variation for a change.

Yes, I did use the onion soup mix. I also did not cover when I baked. It made for a nice browned skin on the drumsticks. It is quite delicious served over rice. What do you serve yours with?

Usually rice, sometimes with potatoes if I happen to have some cooked. But I think that it goes better with rice.

I am going to try it your way too with catalina and peaches. Yummy, I have a taste for it now (yikes, at 9:30 a.m., I guess I should go make breakfast!).
