I posted in the grasses section it looked like no one ever posts there and i need an answer. Last year I planted pampas grass and it grew fine. I cut it back this spring to the ground and it hasn't done a thing. Is it going to come back??? Or do I have to do it again. I love this and need it for a screen from the neighbors. Thanks

In Canadian zone 4 it is not hardy. We treat it as an annual and plant again. It may be too early where you are for it to come back. Many of the grasses don't take off until June. I have some that are still dormant.

Planted it last year in Seattle, WA it did not die in the winter. It just kept growing. It is 3-4 ft tall now.

It's not hardy for us here in z6 near Baltimore, MD. Wish it was because it is such a beauty.
