At least I think it is Bonfire! Certainly a good name for it.








Oriental poppies can be tricky. In my garden I have found that if the foliage does not return from dormancy in fall then that means the plant has died. Of the dozen or so I tried out in my garden I only have about 4 or so alive now but that is more then enough. They take up a lot of space and the summer dormancy is difficult to deal with in a small garden.
