I love poppies. These are self sown from plants I grew last year. I'll also have self-sown peony poppies later as well as flowers from new winter sown plants--if the wind, rain and/or rabbits allow the plants to survive that long!

Great shots...I too Love poppies..My first poppy opened this morning...They're great; so bright and showy in the garden. To me they are a sign of the beginning of summer - The end of a school year.
