It's been a while since I last posted, but I just took another picture today. I had to take a slightly different angle because the mountain Ash is blocking the view now... I think it looks great, and I just came back from Ontario where my mom and I managed to pack a million plants into a box for me to fly here so my work's cut out for me over the next while. Here's the latest pictures:

It looks great and brought back fond memories of sharing plants with my daughter when she was just beginning her garden too.

Well tended? I guess I just cut the grass! It needed it pretty badly. Otherwise, let's just say that it's a good thing that it goes downhill from where I took the picture! No Grass? There's an idea that would please some people. I like to have a place that's open to lie down on, read a book, wrestle the dogs, and build an igloo. And the dogs like to run around and chase each other, so I have to make sure there's a big enough area so they don't knock EVERYTHING down! And it's fun to share plants with GB, though I'm sure that she's getting a bit annoyed at me because every time I have the slightest question I race to the phone... 'I have a Question!'... And she says... 'try posting on the ____ forum', or 'search for it on google'! -LGB

This is really an enjoyable thread! LGB, you're doing just great! Now....you need to add a "turtle plant".

Well I just found this thread today! It looks just great! Imagine, lupines blooming now...and I love the white echinaceas! Your red roses look very nice too. My roses were pitiful this year. Do you have a push lawn mower? No, not annoyed. Monique got that right! PS: Folks, I did send her back with a few more clematis.

In the meantime, some random person (no idea who) decided to dig my potatoes and roses and ripped off a couple rose stems. Vanished without a trace except for a few rose petals. Fortunately they left a few for me... I think I'm going to board up and lock my back gate.
