Every year I say not again. I hate when flowers are pretty in sunlight but remain closed on cloudy days or during the night. But I'm such a sucker for these. Trouble is they are never open when I'm around with my camera. It had just rained.

That's how my convolvulvus is too, Arlene, but I love it all the same. What is this lovely?

Susan this is Arctotis. I haven't been able to get an attractive shot of it open but I'm working on it.

Does it look like a Gazania in full glory?
I am not fond of flowers the do that either..The convolvulus is always interplanted with other things so it's disappearance is never as hard to take..But when I had Gazania..It looked like there were bare patches here and there..Pretty poto A:)

I know you'll be patient enough to get an open bloom photo, Arlene!

I started a couple daisy-like plants from seeds this year. Some have already been munched by evil doers in my yard. If I EVER see any of the flowers, I'll try to take some photos, too!
