I believe you can find an ugly corner in most gardens.. This was the ugly corner in my and my neighbor´s gardens. Our terrible hedge is already gone
Here´s today. Now we can hide compost containers, soil bags etc behind the wooden wall.

That's very attractive Tomas but is your neighbor now seeing the stuff you hide from your view on the other side of the fence?

Arlene, it didn´t cross our minds!!!... Just kidding.... That neighbor´s vista is improved. And besides, a good part of his garden looks like a junkyard..

What is that saying about a fence improving the relationship between neighbors??? I love it, Tomas - very neat and it gives you some nice privacy as well to enjoy your garden.

Hmmm, ugly is all relative, isnt it? We don't have to hide anything from the neighbours, at least. None of them can see our house from theirs, or indeed any of our property! Just for the record the house is the thing on the left, the green thing is the shearing shed and all the brown and grey bits are weeds. The white thingy in my garden is a cloth duck windsock that blows around in the breeze and tangles itself in the clary sage. The actual plants in the garden are mostly scented pelargoniums, and a largish echium. You can't quite see the box hedge and the roses, you need more resolution for that, or maybe more imagination!

Donna, the right side is mine, I have the "L" shaped bed with roses and Dahlias, against the fence D Grandson is growing a few sunflowers and in the bag on the fence some wild strawberries. Greth, what a vista !! I like it very much. I realize it has to be a great challenge to grow a garden in that environment. I look forward to see your postings.

OH, Wow! That looks really great! So is the birch tree yours or your neighbors? The one behind the fence?
