Nothing but weeds were growing in the shade under my weeping birch tree.
Hard to mow and hard to weed.. Always a mess.

Pruning up a gate adding some bricks and shingle made a huge difference..
Sorry I have no before pic... here is today.

Excellent solution to a common problem. I'm already thinking about whether I can do something similar for some of my (many) ugly spots.

Tomas that is a very nice solution! I like your edging, it will probably make mowing easy too.

Mowing and weeding under and around trees (or sand boxes) can be problematic. That is an excellent solution Tomas, and a good looking one.
