All set now for new strawberrie plants for 2006.

New to growing strawberries never mind trying to overwinter them.

Could I keep them indoors through the winter in my heated conservatory as my greenhouses have no heat.

All my new strawberrie runners from my two strawberrie plants new this year are now well rooted.
When should I detach runners from mother plant?
And should young plants have heat through the winter first year growing strawberries.
Can anyone help me please.

I checked my strawberrie runners this afternoon and yes new young plants all well rooted for next years season.
I was wondering if I took some of the plants indoors like a houseplant under heat if they would give me early crop of strawberries.
