It smells wonderful. I did get concerned that the counter top was warm so I placed a large round cork table saver under the cooker. In an hour I'll see how tender it is and I may add some extra time for all the peaks. DH did a few times too I heard.

Hey everyone. It came out great. I had quite a few tastes as I shredded the roast into it's storage container. This is tomorrow's dinner. Now that i see how this system works I feel better about leaving it on while I am at work. And cleanup was easy. Nothing burned or stuck to the pot. Warm water and a soapy spunge did the trick.

I don't think it's on here Ro. Monique emailed it to me for shredded pot roast. It's on my other computer.

I'll save you looking Ro..and A..I posted this last yr or the yr before: French Dip Sandwiches.. Introduction This is a great tasting and unusual seasoned sandwich. Give it a try, it is great. Add water, soy sauce, and seasonings. Cover and cook on high for 5-6 hours or until beef is tender.Remove meat from broth; shred with forks and keep warm. Strain broth; skim off fat. Pour broth into small cups for dipping. Serve beef on rolls.Makes 8 servings Best served with caramelized onions on top..your favorite condiment..i.e. dijon,etc..

I love that thing. I wish I had gotten one long ago. I have to get some more recipes for it. I've made chicken, pot roast, and pork loin. And an apple desert which I won't do again. At least not the one I tried.
