Wow! that is just wonderful. It looks like something out of a gardening magazine. The rudbeckia are so very big. What variety is it? Mary

No idea Mary ... this superb border is Wonderwoman's domain. I simply created the basic design and initial plantings. I love it. We look out on this from our front window and it does the heart good. Rudbeckia is a most wonderful flower for this time of year, as is the Michaelmas daisy This wide border starts off in the springtime with daffodils and pom pom primulas, moves on to the lupins etc and is still in excellent flower in September I am so glad I married that woman LOLOL

Your border is gorgeous and wonderfully set off by your green lawn. This time of the year my lawn is totally brown, we're on a well and there's not enough water to keep the borders and the lawn watered so the borders get priority.

This is an absolutely fabulous border. I love your use of shrubs and trees for structure. Thanks for sharing this with us.

I have a spare room. When can you move in? What a gorgeous boarder. I need someone to do that for me. I would be "over the moon" if any part of my garden could look like that!

Wide??? I would guess about 9 or 10 feet, maybe 12 It used to be the old laneway into where my house is built now. We laid stones for drainage and then some 30 ton of topsoil. The work was completed in sections as it was just too big a job to be completed at once
