I was able to get a plant called this name in a trade this weekend. It is ready to bloom. The stems are very long and leggy before the plant has some pretty leaves and then some buds. I have never grown this before and am wondering if this is typical or if the plant will eventually thicken up. I have 3 stems at this time. Mary

I have received 3 stems of it too, just a few weeks ago, Mary..So I lack experience... I think we could prune it next year in the same way as other mums...that's probably what I'll do.. Have a look at the post "I love my mum(s)" where this has been discussed, maybe? Lovely foliage indeed, that chrysanthemum pacificum... And we'll share our results next year, if you agree? ;o)
