Howdy!
I have lavender standing in Windowboxes outside in the southside of the house.

Could I let them stay there and how do I handle with watering in the cold season? We live in Zone 8b.

Silvia, I don't think it's a good idea to leave your lavender in the windowboxes. The roots get pretty large if they're typical lavender plants. I'd definitely plant them directly in the ground. Here's a website that may help. http://www.growing-lavender.com/
