I picked most of my Tomatoes but lost quite a few to frost.. they still look not to bad on the vine.. but you can tell the frost got them. Is there anything besides Roto-tilling them under that I can use them for? Sauce, etc..?

You can pick your green tomatoes and place them in a box with newspaper to see if they will ripen up for you. Personally, I find tomatoes tend be quite tasteless after a frost. They usually end up in my compost. If you really can't bear to throw them out, sauce would probably be the only use for them if you flavor it up with seasonings.

Thanks Greg.. I kind thought they would probably end up as compost. Last year I just tilled them under, and had 'volunteers sprouting all over my garden this year. Between the carrots, potatoes, etc.. Cherry Tomatoes! I figure within the next few years.. I won't have to buy any plants, as my garden will be covered in tomatoes!

Yes, I always get volunteers too. Some interesting cherries. It seems any of the hybrids I have planted in the past come back as some kind of cherry tomato. I let a few grow and never plant them anymore.
