I've waited all summer for this. My Angel Trumpets are finally in bloom and probably will just beat the first frost. They seem a little late this year. The smell from them in the evening is incredible, reminds me of vanilla, very sweet smelling. I wish I could send the smell of this on the post. As I look at the pictures I can still smell them in my nose.
Mary

They're beautiful, Mary! Especially with the fall colors behind them. Mine were late this year too (my first year growing them). Wish I could smell them too!!

They sure took their time Mary. It's nice that you got to enjoy them for at least a little bit.

Beautiful! I am still waiting for mine the even get buds!! The top of the plant got knocked off in early summer and it never really caught up. It's in a pot and I am thinking I will take it in and see what it will do during the winter inside.

I don't know the name of it. I traded online for this piece about 3 years ago. Someone once said the name and it started with an "S". Sorry that I am not much help. These don't seem to hang or droop downward so much as others that I have seen. Mine poke outward a little instead of hanging straight downward.
I will have cuttings eventually if anyone wants some.
