Tim, I was adding some soil to some of my c. purpurascens the other day and when I took them out of the pot I noticed that the root system was filling in nicely. Of course this has led me to thinking, when do you recommend re-potting? Are they better off pot bound or should they go into a larger pot? Right now they are in the 3.5" pots.

Are they about a year old now, Terry? I move my more vigorous C. purpurascens into 5 inch pots when they are a couple of years old. The less vigorous plants stay in the smaller pots for an extra year. Generally, it is better to have cyclamen filling the pot with roots, rather than over-potting them.

Yes can you imagine they are a year old already? It seems just yesterday I was first asking my many questions on how to grow cyclamen from seed! Seeing they have just had some soil added to the pots I will let them stay in the pots longer. The root system was visible from the sides and bottom when I tipped them out to add the extra soil, but not curling around each other as they do when totally pot bound. Thanks once again for the help.
