I'm making spaghetti and meatballs with spicy sausage and while rolling out the meatballs I was wondering what size you roll yours. I start out small but always seem to make them to big.

I like to roll them bite size - for me that would be the size of a baseball :). Actually I think it is best if meatballs are two bites - for politeness sake - I would never put a whole one on my fork or in my mouth - especially since I like to talk through dinner. So I would think if the are an inch and a half in diameter - you could cut them in half and they would be perfect. If they are too small they can be tough. I'd love to be at your house for dinner EJ.

For spagetti and meatballs, I usually make mine about the size of a golf ball. For just BBQed meatballs tho they are alittle bigger

Mine are about 1" in size. If I am lazy, I buy frozen ones for my Armenian soup recipe, but they sure don't taste as good. Years ago I used to buy meatballs at a wonderful Italian deli and they were about 3" across! They sold fresh pasta as well, divine Portuguese bread, spicy marinated eggplant...oh how I wish they were nearby!
