Maarten, do you have the cyclamen in a pot or in the ground and do you know what type of cyclamen it is (ie a florist type in a pot or a species)? For most cyclamen this is their active time of growth even if the flowers are fading. Make sure you are not watering too much, they like to be watered and then dry out some. Over watering can cause the tuber to rot. If the flower is fading, you can still leave it on the plant. As it forms seeds it will start to curl down or bend down to the soil line. It takes a while and is interesting to witness. You may even get some seed from the flowers and then can plant them later on. If on the other hand the leaves too are starting to die off, hold back water and just leave in the pot (if in a pot) and water sparingly to keep the tuber healthy. Keep it in a cool spot too. With some luck you will start to have it come back either late next summer as temperatures cool again or early fall. If you have any more questions, or details to add, we'll try to help.
