Oh agony! Sounds delicious, especially hot from the oven...but I'm still drinking my Miracle Soup ...10 pounds later.

Just 6 cups tomato juice, 2 cups beef bouillon and a package of California frozen vegetables. Simmer for 20 minutes. I drink a cup for lunch or have a cup at 4-5 when I start to get famished. It's about 50 calories a cup and is far better for me (unfortunately) than golden raisin buns.

You drop by spoonfuls on to cookie sheet just like you were doing cream puffs. You can make them any size. I usually do 2 and a half to 3 inch drops. They raise and get bigger around.

You have my mouth watering! I like golden raisins and use them when raisins are called for...the organic ones are huge!

Rosemary-- if you try them once you will make them again. It only takes less than 10 minutes to mix up. I mix the eggs in one at a time with my electric hand mixer. When you eat these they almost melt in your mouth. Tanya--I have used the regular raisins when I didn't have any golden ones. Nobody new the difference. And they disappeared in a hurry.

I remember one of the things that attracted me to DW when we were younger was her golden raisin "BUNS."

Linda, the recipe was delicious. I made them tonight after several nights of resisting temptation! Well worth the wait hehe. So easy and tasty. I recommend them to everyone. So much for MY golden buns. Hubby will have to settle for these haha. We don't get much sunshine around here in the winter.

Suzy- that's so funny, I made them again today. But I must say I was thinking of someone else's comments about "Golden Buns" when I made them. HEHEHE.
