I have several clematis with buds forming.Is it too early to prune? Better to wait another month? Thanks!

Welcome to GardenBuddies!!...Are you talking about ones in your Garden or new ones you bought...I would have thought Nebraska is still too cold to have them bud out?..Surely someone in your zone will answer but I would think it's too early...General Rule is to prune the same time you usually prune your Roses for Spring...Jeanne
