Does anyone have a picture of this clematis to share. I fell in love with it - but wonder if the web picture I viewed was an accurate reflection. It is the roots on Debbie's clematis that have got me started .... the plants are so robust. Wish I could order in Canada.

I don't have it but now I want it! It looks very pretty, Kim.
I'm sure you've already looked on COTW but here's the link anyway:

Here is my photo of this lovely clematis. I am hoping it will really grow this year and give me lots of lovely blooms like this.

Thank you Robin. It looks lovely. I'm hoping it will perform well here. Did you add it to your garden last season?

Robin, Did you know that it was your photo that Susan linked me to or at least I think it is. I can not open the pic you posted here (as I get the red x). But I recall the image - it may be the same?

Hi Lilybeetle,
I planted this beauty in mid summer of 2004, it didn't bloom that year, but last year I had about 1/2 dozen gorgeous blooms. Not sure why the photo doesn't show for you, as it shows on my screen. I did submit a photo to clematis on the web, wasn't sure if it was the same one or not.
Jeanne, I don't have any grass at all left in my front yard, only perrenials, groundcovers, shrubs and roses (and lots of clematis on the fence and to grow into the shrubs and roses).

Robin, The photo shows at home (some websites are restricted at work) and the photo is lovely so thank you. I have ordered three Mrs. P.T. James to scramble through some shrub roses. Just wanted to make sure that you were aware that your photo was being used on a website as sometimes they will use them with out permission. Seems like this is not the case so thank you again.
