On a Cooking Forum that I enjoy..A chef shared some recipes around Valentines day and I tried a few.. they were so good and easy.. and pretty..they were from his site..I later found out he was going to be publishing a book and I inquired about it ..

He responded and has always been so informative and helpful..well the book will be available at Amazon and Chapter's soon and I want you to see the reviews..:)

I am getting it for Fred's Bday..

Go here for the reviews..

And here is his site..

I made the Pistachio Crusted Salmon
and the Filets Mignon with Cabernet/Blackberry sauce..

He's delightful!

Yes.. I agree Monique..just was at a lost for any other words. It truly goes to no where. Well, into woods, which we don't own. I would love to clear out a little spot just on the other side of the gate, but hubby doesn't think it wise . One nice thing about the area is that huge wild foxgloves have taken hold and I can see them from our yard and really well from the upstairs windows. Someone has recently built a home on the property but its some distance from our yard and separated by this little wood. Here's a couple of pics taken from the upstairs window to give you an idea. On the county plat it shows that a road is planned to run along our back fence. Not sure if that will ever happen, but its a possibility.

This year I'm hoping the arch will be covered with Super Fairy! The morning glories were a disappointment. Covered the arch beautifully, but pitiful flowers.

The wreath was *Martha* inspired...on a program I saw years ago and have only now had the chance to attempt. I have some new types of hens and chicks I was thinking of adding to it.
