this past December at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens there was a miniature train exhibit. The artist recreated the landmark buildings in Atlanta, using all natural materials. I was thinking what cute little "fairy cities" these would make. Here are just two of them. I'll post more when I get them sized. This exhibit was fantastic. It was it's last week, had been there since April and held up pretty well.

How neat! There is something similar at Epcot Center. A train running through a town, and they have landscaped with miniatures of larger plants..creating small topiaries and such. It was the thing I remember most from my trip there.

How cool. I had never seen anything like this before, so I'm having a blast with these mini gardens now. Thanks for sharing those pics!

I love these. I'm working on some drawer mini-gardens I've seen at Edwards Nursery. I also want a bigger size minigarden, but the miniature alpines are spendy! Gee, 3 or 4 new clematis, or a mini alpine....
