I wrote last week asking if anyone new anything about Pentas but I never got a reply. What board do you suggest I ask this on? I would like some kind of an answer.

I grow them from time to time. Pretty - about 10' or less in my climate. Full sun Perhaps this Google search will tell you more http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=pentas

Hi, I bought them for the first time this year and all have died! I am sure yours will be fine. I bought mine from 2 different vendors. I have very little sun but was hoping they would make it anyhow. mary

I never heard of pentas until someone posted a pic of them with their clematis. Try the Clematis topic under the subtopic "Comtesse de Bouchaud".

Thanks all that answered. I have started using them in place of geraniums. I am getting pretty tired of the same old same old. I put one in a pot last year as a filler with ornamental oregeno and it was so beautiful and never had to do a thing to it. I even used it for a couple of cut flower bouquets. Also thanks for the link. I have used it before. Just wanted to see if there was anyone else that loves them like I do. Mine are still small yet but when they get bigger and lots of blooms I will send a picture. Thanks again.

Hi Charlieann, Where in Ohio are you located? I'm a zone five also. I've never grown Pentas at home, I have heard butterflies really like them though! Kit

Sorry I haven't replied lately... I now have about 15 Pentas. I have all of the white, pink, lavender and red. Beautiful. One of these days when I get time I will post a picture of them. I have never posted a picture before so wish me luck. For whoever ask about where I am from it is Bellefontaine Ohio. Thanks
