This is Salpiglossis, "Chocolate Royale" which was wintersown. Any one else grow this charming annual?

Thats so pretty. I sowed some Kew Blue seeds, but I don't think any of them have survived. I had one plant marked...it kept growing taller..I thought it didn't seem right. Finally it bloomed...a lovely weed. I guess the real seedlings died and all that was left was some hatefull little weed!!! Maybe one will surprise me somewhere.

That is a beauty,Shirley. I have never seen the chocolate color before. Am very partial to plants with that coloring!

I plant these every year, they are a favorite. I have a small garden, so I buy by the six pack, but can't choose color. I love the chocolate. Carol
