vegetable garden was set aside for three pots of annual bedding....then a Cucumber was planted precisely at the corner. The purple is Purple Basil, the white blooms are Angelonia, the foggy blue is Catmint, the yellow is Lantana, the big leaves are Cucumber...

Wow I would have never thought of that. However it is Gorgous..... I have year after year thought how pretty some of the vegetable in my garden flower, but Never done anything with that. Awesome Pic. How creative. Thanks for sharing :) Heather

This is the first year I haven't had flowers in my vegetable garden, except for the fox glove that self-seeded by the rhubarb ... and the spider wort by the beans. But it is lovely to mix both, I agree. Very nice, Joseph!

I always have calendulas in the veggie patch - the petals are also edible in a salad.
