Besides tomatoes, Costa Romanescu is one of my favorite zucchini varieties. I've been eating them for a couple weeks. Just got around to taking some pictures. I sauté them, stir fry them, slice them in soup. Tonight I made them into spaghetti!!

My old ordinary ones are just starting to ripen now. And so are my eggplants! I think I'll make eggplant spaghetti sauce tomorrow.

I am so happy with these zucchini. I have not grown them for a few years as I had a bad infestation of squash vine borers. No sign of them this year, thank goodness.
